ArtTix provides back-office box office functions to over 80 member organizations of the Arts & Business Council of RI (A&BC RI) to provide greater visibility and easier accessibility to arts and cultural performances and events in the Rhode Island and southeastern New England regions. By increasing consumer access to the region's rich selection of arts and cultural offerings, ArtTix is helping to grow audience and revenue sources for its member organizations, expand economic opportunities for Rhode Island artists and positively contribute to the State's economic development, quality of life and establish southeastern New England's appeal as a thriving business, cultural, civic and tourist destination.

SVPRI initially engaged two partners to assist ArtTix with the technical expertise needed to evaluate its proprietary software platform. Recently, SVPRI granted a request from the A&BC RI for a $50,000 low-interest loan to underwrite the cost of a more robust software platform that will enable ArtTix to serve some of the largest performance venues in the state, and to triple its annual revenues within the next five years by increasing the number of members it serves and the number of tickets it sells. The SVPRI Engagement Team will continue to provide A&BC RI with assistance in marketing and strategic planning, with the hope that ArtTix will become a model for other communities seeking to support the arts via a collaborative enterprise model.
