Jennifer Marrapese is Executive Director of Social Venture Partners Rhode Island. Prior to joining Social Venture Partners, Jennifer founded Marrapese Associates, a professional coaching and consulting firm providing serving the legal community. Jennifer has held various positions in the telecommunications industry, most recently as Vice President of Regulatory Affairs for Cox Communications, Inc., where she led the regulatory effort to launch competitive local telephone service in three markets. She also has served as President and in other roles on the Board of Big Sisters of Rhode Island for the past six years.

A lifelong learner, Jennifer earned her BA in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, her Master's degree in Organization Development and Management from Fielding University, and her JD from the University of California, Berkeley (Boalt Hall). She lives in Warwick, Rhode Island, with her husband, Bill, her daughters, Chloe and Isabel, and her border collie, Molly.
