SERI provides a number of innovations, or programs, which foster social enterprise development in Rhode Island.

SE Incubation
We have partnered with local Universities to create SVP-U which pairs student teams with new SE projects. We will partner with BetaSpring to offer start-up resources and mentoring and are working with the Business Innovation Factory to determine feasibility of a BIF Social Innovation Lab to test new social innovation ideas.

SVP Social Enterprise Fund
We fund the startup of promising Social Enterprise with capital and a strategy team of social minded business experienced partners. We are raising $50,000 to kick of the next round and engage new partners.

Social Enterprise Index
Together with University partners and the Providence Chamber of Commerce, we plan to develop a Social Enterprise Index of indicators to measure the economic and social impacts of social enterprise.

Social Enterprise (SE) Marketplace
An online venue and a physical presence at conferences, the marketplace will create opportunities for sales and awareness for RI based Social Enterprises.
